Do I have to speak English to become a city host?

Yes. The  majority of our guests are English speaking and therefore we require our hosts to have a high level of English. We are however proud of our multilingual community, with many of our hosts speaking more than two languages. So although English is a requirement, there are opportunities to host in other languages too!
